Material Origins, Sustainability, and Watches

As the world’s human population recently surpassed the 8 billion mark, I felt it was a good time to post part of a project I have been working on that concerned the material origins of the components used in mechanical watches. There are a lot of us on the planet, and we consume a lotContinue reading “Material Origins, Sustainability, and Watches”

Looking Good and Performing Well Are Two Different Things: The Omega Seamaster 300 “No Time to Die.”

For much of my life, reality was not enough; I always wanted to find a life that was better than what I was being presented with. The idea for the Summer Side-by-Side series of reviews came from my struggle to find my watch identity over the last year; a struggle that was happening alongside my journey to discover who I was in the world. Watches play a pivotal role in my day-to-day life. What I wear on my wrist reflects the stage of the journey I am currently on in life, and without a watch that fits this time in life, I feel lost.
